HOW TO ORDER:
Contacting Me: The best way to contact me is to call my cell phone at 707-292-7861. I will answer the phone if I am able or you can leave a message. Another good way to contact me is via email at jmoldovan@comcast.net either directly or through my website. I will usually respond within a day or two. Please do not hesitate to call. I am very approachable and easy to deal with and I welcome your calls.
Pricing: Since each one of my pieces is unique I can't specify my prices. The final price depends primarily on the design, the type of wood, and the design and joinery details. As a point of reference rocking chairs are in the $4,000 - $5,000 range. Office swivel chairs are in the $3,000 - $4,000 range. Dining chairs are typically around $1,500. Counter stools are around $1,200. Since I do all work by myself and my overhead is low I can keep my prices reasonably low and provide you with excellent personal service.
Placing an Order: If you can't see me personally in my studio or at one of the craft shows I can easily handle the order by mail or email. I can size a chair very accurately by obtaining a few basic measurements. I do this by sending you a simple drawing which indicates what measurements are required. I will also send you a sketch of the chair which will show the design and specific details which you may specify by phone or email.
Payment: In order to keep the cost as low as possible I do not accept credit cards. Checks or money orders are fine. I usually require a 50% deposit before starting the job. The balance is due upon completion. If the piece needs to be shipped I usually crate it myself and use Roadway Express. Shipping and crating usually run between $200 and $400 depending on distance and weight.
